Ævn

Ævn is a Minneapolis based recording artist, producer, and engineer. His music sits at the intersection of alternative rap, cinematic R&B, and industrial trap. Ævn has spent the last few years actually learning from the rooms those influences were built in.

After finishing high school and releasing his debut album TIDES, he made a decision at 18-year-olds to moved to NYC and set out to find a position in a professional studio. With limited credits and no industry connections, he landed an internship at Platinum Sound Studios NYC The Grammy-winning facility founded by Wyclef Jean and Jerry Wonda. He worked his way up from intern to assistant engineer, gaining room time on sessions alongside artist and engineer credits that span some of the most significant names in contemporary music. He returned to Minneapolis with that knowledge and put it to immediate use. He is now recording studio in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis, where he is engineering sessions for artists across the Twin Cities and beyond. His upcoming second full-length album PARADISELOST was recorded at Platinum Sound, The Hideaway and The Bifrost, Minneapolis and is a 16-track concept album. It features RevenantEternal, Stone Williams, FINICK and represents the most complete and intentional body of work he has released to date.
